Aluminum Storefront Doors & Entrances

Aluminum storefront entrances take the most traffic and the most abuse of any door you own. We repair, rebuild, and replace them — glass, framing, and hardware.

Aluminum Storefront Doors & Entrances in Sacramento & Northern California

Aluminum storefront doors are built light so they cycle easily, which is exactly why they sag. The corner joints loosen, the door drops at the strike side, and suddenly the latch misses, the closer gets cranked up to force it shut, and the glass takes stress it was never meant to carry. Add a broken pivot or a bent bottom rail and the whole entrance stops reading as professional to anyone walking in.

Guardian Door LLC works on aluminum storefront systems for retail, restaurant, office, medical, and mixed-use buildings across Sacramento and Northern California. We handle tempered and insulated glass replacement, door and frame squaring, top and bottom pivots, offset and center-hung arrangements, butt and continuous hinges, concealed and surface closers, thresholds and weather seals, locks and cylinders, and panic and exit device hardware. When a door is past rebuilding, we replace the leaf or the complete entrance with a system that matches the existing storefront framing.

How Storefront Entrances Works

What to expect from the first call through the finished opening.

  1. 1

    Entrance evaluation

We measure the door and frame for square, check the pivots and closer, and identify whether the problem is hardware, alignment, or a failing frame.

  2. 2

    Written scope

You receive pricing for the repair path and, where relevant, for replacing the leaf or full entrance — including glass type and hardware finish.

  3. 3

    Glass and framing work

Tempered or insulated units are ordered to size; corners are re-squared and re-fastened, and damaged rails, stiles, or framing are replaced.

  4. 4

    Hardware installed

Pivots, hinges, closers, thresholds, weather seals, locks, and panic hardware are installed and adjusted to spec.

  5. 5

    Final adjustment

The entrance is cycled, latching verified, closer sweep and latch speeds set, and egress function confirmed.
